I liked Brookdale Montgomery a lot. That was our second choice. The rooms were a little small, I thought, and it was a little bit more expensive, but I liked everything about it, and it was in a good spot. There was their dementia ward, but I had a friend in their assisted living and she liked it. The dementia ward was nice because everything was in a big circle. They had an essential gathering area by the front, scheduled activities, and nice little rooms where you could walk in and sit. My mom was obsessed with washing dishes and put them in the cupboard. They had a room with dishes and laundry for people who liked to fold clothes. They even they had a baby carriage and there was this one woman who liked holding a baby doll. It was kind of nice. They had a puzzle room, a TV room, and places you could go for activities. No matter where they walked, they were going in a circle so they couldn’t get lost.
