I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

Russellville Park is a nice community. The assisted living area is pretty good, but the memory care unit is a bit small. Some of their amenities include an exercise room and a salon. The cleanliness of the place is good. Their dining area looks open, and the staff who accommodated me was really informative.

My mom was a resident of Russellville Park. It was fancy-looking, a newer building, nice, clean, and shiny. Mom had a corner apartment, and it had a huge deck. They were very accommodating. The food was nice. I had breakfast there quite often, and you can order from a menu. They had everything going, they had a swimming pool, and an exercise room. They have separate rooms where they provide for family parties and special meals.

Russellville Park was very lovely. We looked at the 2-bedroom, and it was just spacious and gracious. It was the loveliest of all that we saw. It was very nice. The only downside was it was a little bit expensive. The residents looked very content. We met one person in particular, and that was a very positive interaction.

I thought Russellville was a pretty good, beautiful facility with a lot of activities. They were undergoing some renovations. They had a beautiful courtyard, nice amenities, and a gorgeous restaurant with a good menu. It looked like a good environment, and we considered it.

Russellville Park was welcoming, clean, and friendly. My mother is leaning toward this place. We have had a good experience with it. The person who assisted me was extremely helpful, very outgoing, very thoughtful, and very personable. We had a meal with the residents. The food was very good, and the wait staff was very nice. My mother felt that this group of people was happy to be there. They appeared to be active. One of the things that is also attractive is that they said that they would do a monthly get-together for anyone who has just moved in. They would introduce everybody, so they all know they're newbies. Then they try to pair people up so that they have someone to go to meals with or do an activity with, if they want to.

Russellville Park was like a 6-star hotel. We couldn't afford it, but it was topnotch all the way. Everybody was willing to please. If it hadn't been for the money and the location, it would've been a very good choice for my mother. They had a long list of tours. The rooms were good.

I took a tour the facilities and talked with the staff and residences. It was very clean and welcoming. They are big on providing a secure facility and put safety first. The team of staff I met was well trained and many have been there a long time. The staff was very friendly. When I called, they were willing to talk to me and answer my questions. I I do feel there could be more staffing on-site. When I was there I noticed several residents press their buttons, to go to the bathroom for example, I observed some waited for a good 15-20 minutes to respond. Also, some were complaining because they were late receiving their meds. It was nice to see all the activities offered. They have several different classes and the day I visited there was a van full going on a scenic drive. I found this facility to be on the pricier side but still cheaper than some of the others in the area. One downfall is they charge for every little service. I would like to see better communication put in place between the staff. I noticed staff was approached about the same situation multiple times and it doesn't seem like they communicate well with each other. I spoke with a residents daughter she stated the transition from the family home of 55 years has not been easy but the Russellville staff have gone beyond the call to introduce her mother to other residents, to participate in activities, and have taken time to have a conversation with her to make her feel at home. She said after a time they had to add Wellness Services such as escorts to and from the restroom and to the dining area. She said the transition was easy for her mother and it has only enhanced her quality of life. I got to eat on the restaurant and pick a meal off the menu. It was tasty I chicken with vegetables. The amenities and accommodations are nice and clean the staff great they seemed to not only interact with the residents but knew them by name.it is on the pricey side and parking could be better but overall it was a great facility.

My parents have lived at Russellville Park for three years now. They moved into a new, very nice 1 bedroom apartment in independent living. (no services required) Eventually, they added care services under assisted living but remain in their same apartment. My family is extremely satisfied with the consistently, excellent care they receive. The food is always great. Transportation to doctor appointments is offered 3 days per week & shopping on the other two days. Showering, dressing, & other personal care is handled most respectfully. The nurses and med-aids that dispense their medication are wonderfully kind & knowledgeable. My mother is entering the late stages of Alzheimer's but able to stay in her home with my father. There has been no pressure to move her into Memory Care. She enjoys attending a new program geared to her needs 3 days per week. It's nice to see her smiling again! I have found from management to housekeeping, it has been a very nice environment for my parents.

Russellville Park has been an excellent community for my mother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease last year. Initially, Mom lived in a beautiful assisted living apartment which was so clean, bright and safe for her (which was a cheery change from her house where she lived before the move). Her cognitive decline necessitated a transfer into the memory care unit which the staff facilitated with compassion and skill. At every step of what has been a difficult journey for my mom and our family, the Russellville staff have provided us with tremendous support and reassurance. The care they demonstrate seems quite genuine and brings us peace of mind that Mom is being treated with dignity and respect. She is in a very safe environment while she also enjoys excellent meals, social stimulation and emotionally/cognitively enriching activities. We are very grateful for Russellville Park and recommend it highly!

I'm rating specifically the memory care services. I've given 3 stars because the food is good, the staff is good (although some need more training) and the activities good. The 1 star for service is base on their care philosophy, which is that they do memory care lite. As long as your loved one is easy to care for, they'll take your private pay. But when your loved one needs more assistance to be bathed or toiletted, they'll ask you to move your loved one. And this will come as a surprise because they DO NOT tell you this when they show you the rooms and sell their services to you. You find out suddenly and they expect you to move your loved one immediately. They do a good job, but really, who wouldn't do a good job when they are paid through private pay and their residents are easy to care for. If I'd known this, I never would have chosen this facility. Buyer beware! Really consider to have your loved one cared elsewhere. There are other just as good and there are even better facilities that take private pay. I wouldn't recommend Russellville since they do not offer a continuum of care service.

I have had opportunity to dine on several occasions, the food is always very good, selections are good. When onsite, interaction with staff is always professional, they are well groomed and considerate. The building and facilities are kept in good repair and clean. I have clients that have moved in to Russellville and have reported back as to the quality of care, which has been very satisfactory.

I have worked with residents living in independent and assisted living. I have found the staff to be attentive and the facility is very attractive. There are many activities and outings for the residents and it is centrally located for easy access to transportation, shopping etc.
