I'd move to Parkrose Chateau if I could afford it. It was clean and bright. The people were friendly, and the food was excellent.

I visited Parkrose Chateau. The food was good. The people were polite. They serve three meals a day. They offer exercises and arts and crafts, and some others. One thing I didn't like about it was it only had one elevator for a lot of people.

I Am/Was A Resident Of This Facility

I love it here at Parkrose Chateau. I like my studio apartment very much, it's very pleasant. I have a kitchenette, but I take my meals in the dining hall since meals are included. My apartment has big picture windows, and there's a door to the main hall and another door to the patio area, so I can go outside directly from my room. The food is great. Everyone has been very helpful and pleasant. They provide what we need and accommodate all our questions. I'm very happy here. There's everything from groups that get together to play cards, exercise, and so on. They have a large van to take us to excursions outside like toMount Saint Helens or over the coast. I looked at a few different places and I'm very pleased with this one. My granddaughter can just park right outside my apartment because there's ample parking.

We were less impressed with Parkrose Chateau. It felt too large. The people looked bored there and were not so engaged. It's no place I'd ever want to send my mother. The rooms were adequate, but it was not nearly as nice as the other place.

As a discharge planner, I appreciate the professionalism of the staff I've had the opportunity to interact with. I also appreciate a campus that promotes aging in place. By working with in-home care companies, Parkrose does all they can do to provide their Residents with the assistance they need to remain safe.
