I Am/Was A Resident Of This Facility

I'm presently located in Churchill Estates. I would rate the community a five except for the food. The food is a 1; I'm not even going down to the dining room. I'm doing my own cooking and just eating in my apartment. The employees are fine, but the problem is not with them. The problem is direction and management with respect to the food. However, they are aware of this because it is not just me that feels this way. They have indicated some interest in changing some of their practices, for instances, bringing in a dietitian or a nutritionist to check on things and make recommendations. The are also willing to let us have a committee of five or so people to meet with them concerning the menus periodically. Those are positive things. The apartment I have is a 1-bedroom and it is superior to anything I looked at at the other facilities. I have found space for all the art that I need to put on the walls. I have a long balcony that is maybe four feet wide. It runs the entire length of my apartment overlooking the rose garden. I can sit there and look down on it and it reminds me of Paris without the noise. They have yoga and exercise classes, and they have a number of things like that which are great.
