We were very impressed with Spring Hills Singing Woods because of the daytime programs they had for the residents. I think it's the most impressive range of activities we've ever seen. The woman who showed us around was very knowledgeable, responsible, and insightful. I was impressed by her. She's genuine and not just trying to make a sales pitch. I have nothing bad to say about her.

We found Spring Hills Singing Woods for Mom and she's scheduled to move in sometime this month. We liked it the best. They had a one-year Medicaid private pay policy which was acceptable to us and that worked for us financially. They have an end-of-life facility so when she moves in, she stays where she is unless she reaches a point where they legally cannot care for her. Either that or if she requires some kind of medical treatment that they're not legally authorized to give. Otherwise, they do everything that they can do to keep her in her unit so she doesn't have to move again. The people were very nice and they continue to be very nice and thoughtful. We liked the facility because it's big enough that they have enough people to provide the care, but not so big that she's spending most of her life with strangers. They have what they call a resident concierge and this person will meet with my mother every day for the first 30 days to make sure that she's comfortable, all her needs are being taken care of, and that she's meeting with people, not only the staff, but the residents there as well. It's her job to get Mom settled into the community and become a part of the community. Of all the people we met, they were the best. We had an appointment to do lunch there, but my mother wasn't doing particularly well that day, so we were several hours late getting there and we missed the meal. The facilities were very nice, well-maintained, and clean, and they had what we were looking for.

Spring Hills Singing Woods was our second choice because of the proximity to visitors. However, they don't have a memory care opening. I liked the look and feel of the place. The person who assisted me was very professional and personable.

Spring Hills was very nice, clean, and well kept, and we would have gone there if it was closer. The rooms were nice. They had activities and trips for shopping and ball games. The dining area was very nice and clean. They had garden areas for sitting, areas with flowers, and vegetable gardens. The administration staff was more accommodating and took the time to sit with us and explain.

I was pleasantly surprised with Spring Hills Singing Woods. We were really happy with it. It was really nice, really clean, and very brightly decorated. I did not really pay much attention to the residents, but they seemed happy. In fact, one of the men there was a person that my husband knew and said it was a very nice place. He was very happy there.
