New England Club was very nice and we were greeted right away. They took us all around and we saw several apartments. The place is a little more spread out and they have a beauty shop, corner store, church services on Sunday, a library, and activities. They have books everywhere and I really liked that. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

My friend went to New England Club, and she's happy there. We've eaten there a lot of times. It's very nice, and she's really happy with the food. They had a little setup, where they had coffee and tea. They had a big lobby, lots of help, and very nice people. They had a lot of activities, an activities room, and a room where they had a bicycle and weights.

I liked New England Club's philosophy as far as taking care of the aging population. They have activities. It's a nice place, and although they keep it up, it's kind of dated. They have transportation available. The apartments were a little bit smaller than some of the newer facilities, but there were 2-bedroom 2-bath. They have a smaller kitchen as well. The staff was friendly, and the people seemed to be happy there.

I visited New England Club and liked it much better than other places. It is in the midst of doing some renovations. The rooms were nice but had kitchenettes, and I was looking for something with more ability to do some cooking, not just the kitchenette. I did like the community. They had nice grounds, more land, gardens, and a lake, so it was more picturesque. They had the three levels of care under their roof. You can hire home health care agency as needed, but it’s not part of their program.

Everybody at New England Club was really friendly, but it wasn't what I wanted. The room was as nice as it could be, but it was a super old building. The residents were doing all kinds of activities. I went there at lunch, and the food was good, but I wouldn't live there myself, so I would not put my mother in there either. They had a pool table but not a swimming pool.
