I Am A Current Client Of This Provider

We are currently working with Friends of the Family for my mother. They go to the nursing home where mother is three days a week and spend about five hours a day with her. It gives us peace of mind knowing that someone is there with her during the day. They took care of my father and now, they're taking care of my mother. My father had passed away and we really never encountered anyone that wasn't trained well or knew what to do. They had a good way of taking care of my terminally ill father and then special caring needs to take care of my mother who had Alzheimer's because she never remembered who they were. You have to have a special way of dealing with her because every time they showed up, she has no idea what they were doing and why they were there. Some of them were better than others but they do need that special training on how you react with an Alzheimer's patient. But everything's been good.

Description of Friends of the Family

Friends of the Family was founded by Geoff Scott, a surgical nurse, in memory of his grandmother.

Our company's goal is to provide superb, compassionate, dependable and affordable in-home care for peace of mind for our patients as well as for their families.

Our phones are answered by our own staff 24/7--including weekends and holidays--to address any situation, and we guarantee that all scheduled shifts will begin on time. What sets Friends of the Family apart from other home health care companies is our dedication to go above and beyond in every aspect of care and service.
