The staff at The Waterford on the Bay was very clear as to what the prices were and what's provided, and their pricing was affordable. They were very warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. The location was great and it had a parking lot. The place was beautiful and clean, but I didn’t like the furniture inside the room that they first showed me. They showed me a different room that was newly renovated and was much nicer with a beautiful view.

The Waterford on the Bay and its people seemed nice. They had two people in a room. It was more affordable. I saw one small room with two twin beds with a dresser in-between them. It was like you were sleeping in the same room with a person. We did not care for that so much. I met one person who showed me around. She was nice, very attentive, informative, and followed up with me. They had movies, bingo, and evenings out. The dining area looked more like a cafeteria.

The Waterford on The Bay was a very clean, well-kept facility. I thought that the rooms were nice and the location of the facility, being by the water, was very nice. I know that they have barbecues during the summer, and the people that are there can go in the backyard and eat in the back by the water. They have a gazebo there. When I was there, the people were playing bingo, so they keep the residents busy. The two staff people that I talked to were very nice, very accommodating, and answered all of my questions very well, so I was very happy with the staff. The common areas were very well kept and very clean. They said that if I come back with my mother, we could come back at a time when we would have some lunch there.

We visited The Waterford on the Bay. It's absolutely beautiful, but there wasn't a high level of resident diversity. The amenities were excellent, and Jessica, who took us on the tour, did an excellent job and was very supportive and very helpful. We didn't have any complaints about the facility or the quality of care that they would provide. It's a superior facility. They had daily activities to engage the residents like field trips, local entertainment at the facility, and movie nights. The doctors were on-call and meet with the patients or check on their conditions to make sure that they are making progress. They also have a psychiatrist.

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

The staff at The Waterford on the Bay is extremely nice, pleasant, and polite. The most outstanding thing about it is it is immaculate. I like the way that it’s kept clean and there aren't any odors when you walk in. The people are happy, and it feels more like you’re in a hotel and less like you’re in a senior living facility. The backyard of it is right on the bay, and the seniors go and sit out there. They have card games, bingo, music, craft activities like ceramics, and have movies almost every night. The one thing that’s not good about the place is that the food is terrible because they cook without salt for the health of the seniors; it’s hard to make good food. My mom eats the food that they prepare, and she really doesn’t complain. They have single rooms and shared rooms. My mom has a private room and had the option of either being provided with furniture or not and she has a mix. She brought some of her own furniture and they provided her with some that's nice. The dining area is nice. They have a common lounge on every floor and a recreation room.

My mother was in The Waterford on the Bay for about a month, and I liked it so much. It was spacious and clean. The people were very friendly. They had activities, like games, music, and bingo, but I did not think she was there long enough to go outside. I understood they had church and different places to go. However, she enjoyed the activities that she participated in and said the food was good.

We’re trying to get my parents into the Waterford within the next two weeks. The walk-through was fine. From what I saw, the rooms looked pretty good and the atmosphere seemed very pleasant. The staff seemed knowledgeable. The dining area was clean, bright, and small with a restaurant-type atmosphere. Security appeared to be very tight. They had a gym, a rec room, and a therapy room.

The Waterford on the Bay was clean and had friendly staff. The rooms were a nice size and well furnished. They had a full schedule of activities. The dining area was OK and not very lively, but the food was decent.
