I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident
Our loved one was there for 5 years. We put him there when it was Southwinds and that was fine. Once Promenade took over it all went down hill. They kept moving around, and lied saying he would go back to his old room. They put him on the second floor which made it even harder for him to get around. This provider is unfit to care for the elderly or anything. They only care about their appearance and all of the money goes to that and not their staff. Staff is untrained and not friendly. They do not want to assist anyone and are lazy. I was there many times and saw aides walking around doing nothing, while residents were lost and could not find their rooms. No one is held accountable when anything happens. Constantly he would have other peoples clothing in his drawer and hamper. Stuff would get stolen all the time. When my brother passed away they did not call or send a card, but they did manage to steal some of his newer clothes before we cleaned out his room. How sad that a place that is to care for elderly can be so bad and neglectful.
