I Am A Current/Past Resident
We realized in our 70s that it was time to move from our high maintenance beloved house of 40 years, and we found that The Osborn Retirement Community in Rye, NY provided everything we wanted for the rest of our lives. A 100% refund of our Entry Fee for our children, beautiful individual Garden Homes, apartments of all sizes, 50 beautiful acres for walking, close to New York City, congenial people to share our interests and activities, next door medical facilities of West Med and much more. Three libraries, a beauty parlor, movie theater, market place, physical therapy, home health aides available for as many hours as wanted, delicious meals in three dining rooms, weekly housekeeping...and more.

Description of The Osborn
The Osborn has been Westchester County's premier senior living community for more than 100 years. We provide residents an engaging lifestyle and a continuum of health care on our beautiful 56-acre campus. We constantly evolve and innovate to exceed the needs and expectations of older adults. Everything you need – independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, short-term and outpatient rehabilitation, memory care and Osborn Home Care – is available from one trusted name.
The Osborn is a not-for-profit retirement community for people who want to enjoy an upbeat, interesting lifestyle. The Osborn is accredited by CARF-CCAC (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and Continuing Care Accreditation Commission), which is widely recognized as the highest standard of excellence for retirement communities. In addition, we earned an “A-” rating from Fitch Ratings, a rare accomplishment among retirement communities.
Sterling Park, our independent living community, offers residents their choice of convenient apartment living or stand-alone garden homes. Our Garden Homes boast spacious, two-bedroom floor plans with attached garage, many with finished basements and other custom details. Apartment homes are available in a selection of one, two- and three-bedroom floor plans, most with balconies, and easy access to elevators and underground parking.
When not relaxing in their private apartments or garden homes, residents of The Osborn may enjoy going for a swim in our indoor pool, watching a favorite film in our 27-seat screening room, playing Bridge with friends in our game and billiards room, or picking up items from our Marketplace general store. Residents also enjoy the convenience of weekly housekeeping, linen services, scheduled transportation and home maintenance.
The Osborn's residences include apartment homes and Garden Homes with a monthly service fee and a 100% refundable entrance fee. We also offer rental apartments with no entrance fee in the main Osborn building.
Your senior living options range from independent living to a full continuum of on-site care – assisted living, long-term skilled nursing, short-term and outpatient rehabilitation, memory care, and Osborn Home Care.
In every way, The Osborn retirement community means an engaging lifestyle and freedom from worry.
