Pros: Very friendly, caring facility. Good size. Nice facility. Cons: Food is very poor quality, never improves, lots of complaints not responded to. Activities are limited. Pool closed for 2 years, even though advertised as being functional. Security not good. Robberies take place, probably inhouse.

Siena Hills was a very good and nice facility with nice decor and ambiance. They had their own assisted living and a separate building for memory care. The rooms were very good. It was nicely done and nicely decorated. They had very good taste. The chairs and carpets were very nice. You could live there and not feel like you're living in a shabby place.

My elderly parent stays here. The staff is great, attentive and very kind and helpful. The food is horrid. They run out of everything, cook it poorly, etc. I would rank it lower than institutional food and even worse than hospital food or elementary school food. I ate there once and it was a cold piece of ham with a weird tasting sauce and a little bit of vegetables. Disgusting. Some holidays, they gave residents bag lunches for dinner with a sandwich and chips because their whole cooking staff was off.Compare this to Sunrise of Henderson which is outstanding in the food they provide. Sometimes food is the one thing my elderly parent looks forward to and it is terrible. Considering it starts at $3300 a month (when you have no assisted services) I am appalled. Do not believe their "chef" cook advertising on their website.

It is disappointing that you feel this way about our community. I agree that the Staff at Siena Hills is absolutely amazing. We are very proud of their dedication and service to our residents. I want you to know that we are very attentive to our residents and their concerns. We address our resident concerns at our Town Hall meeting that we have monthly. We also have a Chef Chat every month where our residents discuss the Dining experience with our Dining Service Director. We are excited to have a new Dining Service Director at our community. I would invite you to come by and have another meal with us. If you have any other concerns please feel free to call Siena Hills Assisted Living & Memory Care at our community phone line. - Suzanne

My favorite place was Siena Hills. Everybody there was kind, nice, and helpful. They kept calling me back. Robert called me every day just to see how my situation was going with my stepdad and checking in on what he was doing and where he was. The facilities were very nice and offered a lot of activities. They would provide transportation to his doctors' appointments and serve all three meals. The staff was extremely attentive, very warm, and very kind. I gave it five stars because of the people who worked there.

We visited about four communities in the Henderson NV area before we decided on this location. It was a hard decision, which became easier and easier with our experiences over time. The staff is wonderful. Their caring and friendliness is genuine. The staff presence is noticeable, which I really appreciate. The residents are independent but guidance and encouragement is available. My Mother was very decisive in what she wanted in her new home and April Fillingim was right there to make sure it happened. I also appreciate Rosa Jenkins and her medical supervision. I have trusted this community to care for my Mother and that is a very important task. I have not been disappointed. I am thankful that I found this location and the people who work there.

Description of Siena Hills

When your loved one needs assisted living or specialized Alzheimer's and memory care, Siena Hills is a community that can accommodate both care needs. And because we believe that it is not just enough to simply care for our residents, we also enhance their quality of life by offering a series of health and wellness programs that are designed to encourage their mental and physical well-being.

Siena Hills is one of many retirement apartments owned by the Senior Lifestyle Corporation. We pride ourselves on creating senior living communities that enable seniors to live healthy and fulfilling lives, and our Wellness Everyday™ program offered at every community is praised by the International Council on Active Aging.

Featured Amenities

Our residents find their days filled by participating in the Brain Health University™ program whose activities are designed to stimulate mental engagement and physical activity. We also offer shopping trips and outings so residents have a chance to explore Henderson and do a bit of shopping. To support our residents' physical health, our Dining for Wellness™ program promotes a healthy lifestyle, and in the community dining room, fresh, seasonal cuisine is served every day.

We offer two different living arrangements at Siena Hills so that our residents may thrive in a supportive atmosphere that meets their needs. Residents needing only assisted living services live in spacious one-bedroom apartments whose windows overlook the scenic grounds, and the memory care unit is designed in a neighborhood setting with residents having a private room and communal gathering areas.

Available Services

When residents join our community, we design a personalized care plan to identify their health care and wellness needs. So our residents may live the fullest life possible, our award-winning Wellness Everyday™ program offers opportunities for wellness that address the six areas of physical, intellectual, emotional, spiritual, social and vocation.

Besides relieving our residents from the burden of caring for a home, we also provide scheduled transportation for shopping and to medical appointments. Housekeeping and maintenance is taken care of by our staff, which leaves our residents more time to spend time with friends. For added peace of mind, every apartment has an emergency response system, and staff are on site twenty-hour hours a day.

For retirement living within a supportive atmosphere and gorgeous settings, Siena Hills is the community to call home.
