My mother-in-law has been at The Lodge for 2 years now and it's very good. They have Bingo, group things, entertainment, and bus trips. She has a lanyard to call for help if needed. They don't have assisted living and memory care units. She's in a very nice studio, overlooking the courtyard, and she has a microwave, refrigerator, and sink in the kitchenette. The food is very good and they have a chef on staff. It's a little pricey though.

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

My parents are great and happy in The Lodge at Wake Forest. The food and the dining area are great. The people, staff, and activities are wonderful. My parents are very happy and safe. They have volleyball, chair tai chi, and Zumba. Their room is clean, comfortable, and the right size for what they need. They've only been in there for three weeks.

    I Visited This Community

    • Overall

I like The Lodge at Wake Forest for my mother. It was 10 to 15 minutes from my house, so I like the fact that it was close to me. The facility itself was very nicely set up and laid out. It felt more like a vacation lodge in the mountains rather than an assisted living home. This was my favorite out of the three I visited. The room and staff were very nice. I met with one of the ladies that was running it. She and her husband like it so much, that they moved in. It was nice because she lives there as well as helps run it.
