I Visited This Facility
We toured Brookdale Wake Forest. The person who helped me was very kind, did a very thorough job of showing me around, and listened to everything I had to say and the concerns that I had about what to do with my mom. She was very compassionate and a good listener. It was a good tour and I appreciated the time they gave me. They explained the monthly rent and gave me a base rent, then explained that for extra services that she might need and how much more a month that would be. They serve three meals, have game days and game nights, and plan some outside activities if the residents can leave and be safe. They showed me a couple of different apartments, including a larger and a smaller apartment.

We create personal care plans in conjunction with the resident and their family to determine the best course of care. No one set of services will cover the needs of everyone, so we tailor our plans for each resident as they come to us.
Brookdale Wake Forest is a part of Brookdale. Brookdale has been an industry leader in providing care to America's seniors since 1978.
Our community was designed with the comfort and enjoyment of our residents in mind. There is a fully-enclosed outdoor courtyard for residents to enjoy nature and get some fresh air in a safe environment. We also have a beauty parlor and barbershop in our building to provide for all the hair care needs of our residents.
Meals are served in our welcoming dining room by friendly staff members. Our kitchen staff is trained in the needs of seniors with Alzheimer's and dementia and our menus feature an emphasis on finger foods. Staff is available to assist residents who may have trouble with eating.
At Brookdale Wake Forest, we make continual efforts to ensure our staff is among the best trained and most knowledgeable in the industry. Our skilled personnel and nurses are available day and night to tend to residents' needs and issues.
Staff are also available to assist residents with personal care, aiding the resident in bathing or showering and other hygiene issues. Clothing selection and dressing assistance can also be provided, if needed. Our trained nurses oversee all medical care, including supervision of medication and continence management.
