I Visited This Community
When I visited Victorian Place of Sullivan I was pleased with the beautiful landscaping. It adds more beauty to the building since its not new. But I must say the community is big and has lots of open land. Multiple walk paths for getting fresh air. And decks for watching the sunrise. The rental units where not my favorite because they were kinda small. And I can only imagine the difficulty of trying to navigate with mobility devices. Now the showers are large enough for wheelchair access. And they do offer carpet in units. Now for meals its the traditional 3 meals a day with various snacks available. And they do offer activities to indulge in. I happen to notice lots of nursing staff which were available on stand by to assist with everyday needs. So you'll have certified personal available 24/7.

Description of Victorian Place of Sullivan
Victorian Place of Sullivan is a quiet community nestled in Sullivan, Missouri. We are there for those who need an occasional helping hand or no longer desire to live alone. Our personal assistants' primary focus is to provide what you need when you need it so that you can live life to its fullest.
Victorian Place of Sullivan is a proud Americare community. We have provided Person-Centered Care to seniors in America's heartland for over 20 years. Our approach to preserve the lifestyle seniors are familiar with and allow them to enjoy life on their own terms. Whether this means leaving one's home of many years to enjoy the welcoming embrace of an Americare community, or treatment in one of our skilled nursing centers allowing a loved one to return home, you will be treated as though you are family.
When you step into Victorian Place of Sullivan, you will find lovely well-lit private and semiprivate rooms with private baths available to choose from. Each unit comes complete with carpeting, window treatments and individual climate control. For those who need more help, we have special assisted bathing facilities equipped with a whirlpool bath.
Resident involvement is encouraged in community activities, but you will always have the choice to enjoy time as you please. We strive to strike a balance between planned activities, such as live entertainment, bridge tournaments or movies, and more spontaneous events like afternoon tea in our family room or leisurely stroll around our grounds.
Housekeeping may not be glamorous, but it is just one more touch that we offer. Our helpful staff comes through daily to keep things tidy and we have a schedule for routine deep cleaning as well so we can maintain your home to your high standards. Of course the centerpiece of any great community is the meal plan. While breakfast is served in an informal manner allowing residents to stroll in, lunch and dinner are served restaurant style. Each meal is cooked to order and we accommodate special menu requests as well as prescribed dietary restrictions.
You also will benefit from the availability of a full-time licensed nurse on site who will create a plan for individualized healthcare and services and supervises personal care attendants who are available around the clock, seven days a week. Experience the security and comfort that loving caregivers are available to assist with medication supervision and facilitation, assistance with dressing and grooming or therapy services as needed.
We encourage you to take the next step and sit down with us and learn how Victorian Place of Sullivan can support your independence.
