I Visited This Community
I recently visited Keystone of Mankato and was very impressed by the building and staff. From the minute you walk in it is home. There is a warm, friendly feeling from everyone you meet. I came just before dinner and the smells were great. The tenets were lined up waiting to go to dinner. This is the home I want my mom to live in.

Description of Keystone of Mankato
We believe that you should live your senior years with vitality and joy, which is why Keystone of Mankato is designed to have all the amenities that active seniors desire: plentiful activities, excellent dining options and maintenance-free living. And with our location in the heart of Mankato, running errands or visiting nature has never been easier since we are just minutes from the Red Hills Mall and Riverfront Park along the Mississippi River.
Keystone Senior Living is a Minnesota-based senior living provider, and we are committed to delivering services with integrity, dignity and compassion. Our communities are designed to support maximum independence and have distinct characteristics not found in other senior lifestyle residences, which makes for a life filled with vitality and joy.
For your new apartment home, you can choose from one- and two-bedroom floor plans that have patio and balcony options. A full kitchen comes standard, along with an in-unit washer/dryer, cable television and plentiful storage space. We also provide the added sense of safety by an emergency pull cord system in the bedroom and bathroom.
But your new home at Keystone of Mankato isn't just your apartment, but the entire community. Hobbies can be pursued in the woodworking and craft room, and during the summer, our outside garden is a great place to spend some time. We offer a full calendar of activities that include outings to the Chankaska Winery or on-site activities of Wii bowling and musical entertainment.
Chef-inspired meals are always on the menu in the community dining room that features restaurant-style dining. Our residents in independent living enjoy one meal a day, while our residents in assisting living and memory care receive three meals a day. Other helpful services that we provide to make a bit easier include an on-site beauty & barber shop, an Internet café and on-site chapel services.
Whether a resident requires a bit of assistance to remain independent or specialized memory care, they will receive compassionate care delivered by skilled resident assistants. We have nursing staff on site seven days a week and a registered nurse is on call 24 hours a day. When creating a care plan for a resident, we work with families, the resident and physicians to ensure that we create and deliver the best care possible.
Keystone of Mankato: where neighbors are friends and a vibrant community creates a life filled with fulfillment and vitality.
