I Visited This Community

University Living was very nice. The only problem was they only had a one-bedroom. I’m my wife’s caregiver right now, and she’s in a wheelchair. I do her dressing, food, and other things. It was very nice but the only problem was the one-bedroom is all they offered. My wife liked them, and they’re one of the best.

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

University Living seems to be a very caring community. I knew my husband would feel at home there. My husband has a large room with a bed, a reading chair, a small table, a very large closet, a little kitchenette with a refrigerator and a sink, and a very large bathroom with a walk-in shower completely outfitted for handicapped people. The staff seems to care for my husband. They know what he’s doing and how he is relating to the other residents. If he has any problems, they help alleviate those problems.

Description of University Living in Ann Arbor

Tucked away in scenic Ann Arbor, University Living was founded in 1999 with the goal of setting new standards for senior living. Honored by the AARP as one of the Top 10 assisted living residences in the country, University Living provides innovative programming targeted to meet the unique needs of seniors with Alzheimer's and dementia. Our central location is close to Briarwood Mall, I-94 and the University of Michigan Golf Course.

University Living is owned and operated by Provision Living. At Provision, all of our employees share a passion for serving others, and we treat each and every one of our residents like family. It is our daily mission to ensure that our seniors are enjoying life, that our associates are achieving professional fulfillment and that our homes have a positive impact on the local communities we serve.

Featured Amenities

Our studio apartments come in three distinct floor plans with wall-to-wall carpeting, private bathrooms and convenient kitchenettes. Select corner  homes also feature spacious walk-in closets.

When not relaxing in the privacy of their homes, seniors can be found emailing family from the computer in our library, getting their hair done in our on-site salon or enjoying some shade on a sunny day in our outdoor gazebo.

Available Services

As an assisted living and memory care community, we provide round-the-clock assistance with life's daily activities. Staff are on site 24/7 to help with dressing, grooming, bathing, escorting and transferring. For added comfort and convenience, daily meals, transportation, housekeeping, linen changing and personal laundry service are provided to all residents.

University Living is proud to partner with the University of Michigan (UM) for several intergenerational programs including a movie discussion series with an annual theme chosen by residents, an opera appreciation program featuring the live broadcasts by the Metropolitan Opera House and assigned “friendships” between seniors and UM students.

At University Living we want to be your choice for senior living in Ann Arbor.
