SETTING
The de Rham Hospice Home was the first hospice residence in Massachusetts, established in 1991 by the former Hospice of Cambridge. The home is located on a quiet street in Cambridge's Huron Village neighborhood. The residence serves up to five individuals in private rooms. Staff foster a warm, supportive environment, and nurses are on-site around the clock. The de Rham Hospice Home gives patients flexibility in their routine and personal living space.

The private bedrooms each have their own bathroom and are equipped with an electric bed, flat screen television and cable, nurse's call system, telephone, and closet storage system that includes shelves and drawers. Residents may bring photos, mementos, small pieces of furniture, and other personal items that fit comfortably and safely in the room.

The home features a common living room and dining room where residents and loved ones can gather. Families, friends, and other guests may visit as often as they like. Although there are no set visiting hours, guests are asked to respect the privacy and comfort of the other residents.
