Description of Emerson House

_____________________________________________

The Emerson House is a beautiful home that offers seniors home-cooked meals, personalized transportation and weekly housekeeping. Our community is described as a "haven in the city" because of the wooded surroundings. Spacious and bright bedroom suites, with walk-in closet and handicapped-accessible bath, provide inviting quiet space that complements the appealing, shared space for meals and activities. A fireplace and two patios create inviting spaces to gather and to watch a wide variety of wildlife.

Emerson House is a unique concept, a private home for a small group of seniors who don't require more than home health services. Personal attention to individual needs and capabilities helps keep our residents vital and they benefit from a healthy family setting. Residents are free to request favorite menu items for meals. A large garden and a variety of berry bushes and trees provide fresh produce through the summer, supplementing the fresh fruits and vegetables that are a staple year-round.
