I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident
My father has moved into The Peninsula. It's very nice, beautiful, and more affordable than any of other places I went to. The people are great! Most of the rooms have been renovated and are very nice. My father is very happy there. They offer assisted living and memory care. I'm very happy with the place. My father doesn't complain about the food. They have three meals a day. They have lot of activities. They offer yoga and music therapy. Every night they have movie night with popcorn. Once a week, they have a happy hour. They have ice cream day where they serve ice cream.

I Visited This Community
The Peninsula is a beautiful facility for seniors that need little assistance. Throughout, the building there is comfortable armchairs and appropriate flooring. Its spacious and equipped with amenities that keep the residents vibrant and sociable. The rooms have an open concept and similar to an efficiency apartment. The bathrooms are suitable with no storage. However, it's spacious enough to put storage furniture for towels and hygiene products. The activities are stimulating and creative. There's fun activities planned daily for the residents to enjoy. The food is average and healthy for seniors.

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident
At first this establishment seemed like a good place for our mom. The staff seemed reasonably capable and seemed to care about providing good service. As time went on, however, and many of the staff turned over, I became increasingly appalled at the practically lethal combination of apathy and incompetence displayed by the staff and management. As my mother's health deteriorated and she needed them most, they were at their worst. Everything from medication management to bathing and feeding was routinely botched. And, every time we raised these issues to management, they were met with total indifference! It was gut-wrenching to see mom in tears as she begged us to move her from this facility. Unfortunately, her health had declined to the point that her doctors strongly advised us against moving her. In hindsight, I wish we had gone ahead and done it anyway. At least her last days would have been pleasant. On the very night that she passed away, she called me in tears yet again over a screw up by the staff. If you love your parent, do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague. I wouldn't even board my pet there!! Just remember, you've been warned!!!
