I Visited This Facility

I really liked Magnolia Manor. It was a very nice, clean place. I wish my mom could go there, but it was just too expensive for us. It was near where she lives now. Everybody was nice, I was very impressed, and I really liked it. It seemed very quaint and like a home. The interior was very nice, they had a lot of outdoor places where residents could sit, or indoors with screened-in parts. They had a big fireplace when you walk into the social room, and they could either sit and talk, or watch TV. They had a very nice dining area.

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

I watched Magnolia Manor be built. I prayed that it would be the perfect fit for my Father and it has been everything we hoped for! It is small, (53 beds) quaint, and very clean, (NOT a "facility feeling" at all) perfectly hidden - yet in a perfect location right off the Veterans Expressway, Dale Mabry, and VanDyke area. The staff are loyal, friendly, and communicate very well with staff and family members. I have looked at many other ALF, and this one by FAR is my favorite!

Provider Response

Thank you Amy for your review. We are ever changing and evolving to meet the needs of our residents. Since we are smaller we are able to adapt our business practices to accommodate our resident's needs. I am so very glad that it shows!

Description of Magnolia Manor Assisted Living

Welcome to Magnolia Manor Assisted Living

Magnolia Manor opened in late November, 2011. We are family owned and operated with over 25 years in the senior care industry here in the Tampa Bay area. Our building is designed to be bright and cheerful with wooded views from everywhere, in addition to having 3-screened lanais, an open deck, front porch and a boardwalk. We serve three home cooked meals and snacks daily and offer stimulating activities and outings. We have the capacity for 53 residents in either private rooms with kitchenettes or semi-private rooms.

We provide transportation for nearby doctor visits, and we are visited regularly by geriatric physicians, home health and rehabilitation providers and specialists such as podiatrists, dermatologist, hearing and vision. We also have a hairdresser on Friday’s. We have weekly “Happy Hours” with live entertainment, seasonal parties and trips to the supermarket, local restaurants and the library. Magnolia Manor is also pet friendly.

The creation of Magnolia Manor…

Barbara Keithly has been in elder care since 1990. In the beginning Barbara was a legal guardian for disabled adults through the Court system. She later decided to open and operate assisted living facilities to have a more “hands on” approach to improving the lives of her clients.

This is a family owned and operated assisted living facility and Barbara is assisted by her son and daughter to insure quality care! Our family will care for you and your family! We would love for you to come by and see us, but in the meantime – take a peak at what we have to offer.
