I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

My dad moved into Augustine Landing. The staff seems to be very caring and professional. The apartments are clean and appear to be well maintained. I've had dinner there once that was OK. He seems to enjoy the activities.

Augustine Landing is our second choice and meets everything that we need. The person who was introducing us and giving us the tour was ready and very nice. They set up the whole tour, had all the information, were really listening as to what our needs were, and followed up with us since. The place was not as big as the first location, but they did have a lot more activities. We got there close to lunchtime when a lot of the residents were out eating and had different things going on. Everybody, including the residents, was talking and being nice to us. There was nice feedback from the residents.

We absolutely love Augustine Landing. We love everything. The look of it, the staff, the cleanliness, the rooms, and the way they do meals. There wasn't anything there that we didn't like. I didn't eat any of the food, but I saw the menus, and they were fantastic. The suites were absolutely beautiful and there's enough room.

My mom moved into Augustine Landing and we are very pleased. The food is very good and the staff is friendly. She has gotten acquainted with the doctor in the facility and she likes him. The staff is very pleasant, with smiling faces, and they're very willing to help when Mom has any troubles at all. They have a nice library. It’s all we could afford, but it's everything we need, so I think it's been very reasonable. It's not cheap, but you get your money's worth for sure.

Augustine Landing is very welcoming and clean, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. The staff member was very helpful and introduced me to everybody that was there during my first visit. The food is good most of the time. Our main reason for putting Mom there was the cost and what she's getting. I really think this is the right place for her.

We loved Augustine Landing. Of all the places we visited, it is our favorite. When we walked in, we felt like we were walking into a resort hotel. The staff members were friendly, and the residents were very active and energetic. Several we talked to were older than my mother and she's 91. The apartments seemed clean and well maintained. It's a fine location. There were several people active and doing a variety of things. Part of what impressed us is how busy and friendly the residents were. They seemed to be very engaged and happy. We had a very good lunch there. They were cheaper because it's independent living and you do your own contracting with a company that is there during the day for any medical care.

Augustine Landing is very good. It looks to be a well-run, happy place. It seems like the residents that live there are quite happy about the whole experience. The apartment is fine, quite acceptable, and clean. The grounds and the location are fine. It's a good spot for my friend. It was reasonable.

Augustine Landing was very good. My son, daughter-in-law, and I enjoyed it. The staff was pleasant, professional, and answered questions I hadn't even thought to ask. I enjoyed meeting them, and it seemed that they had a way to make sure they knew all current residents by name. There was a bit of a situation with one of the residents who was maybe feeling a little more depressed than most people would expect, and they handled it very professionally. The only reason we knew about it was because we happened to be in the office when another guest came in, and spoke to Paul, the gentleman who took us on the tour. We really liked the facility, and the feel of the place. The residents spoke to us, and they didn't go out of their way to be super chummy, but they were very pleasant. They reached out without a lot of prompting or anything. They enjoyed where they were. The rooms and apartments were a very good size. They had one studio apartment that had more square footage than a one-bedroom that was right around the corner from it. I think that studio was actually $120 more a month than the one-bedroom, but both of them were lovely. They had balconies so you have at least a little bit of an outdoor area. One drawback was there wasn't a pool.

Our visit with Augustine Landing was good. The only problem was they did not have a room small enough. They had a one-bedroom that was too big and did not offer studios. However, that one was very nice from what we could see. There was a man who assisted us who was very good. The place was very nice. We looked at a beautiful two-bedroom unit. The people were very friendly, and all of the residents looked like they were happy. They also had a nice, homey atmosphere.
