I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

Staff are very friendly and helpful. It feels great and alive. Views are incredible. They offer everything someone would want! If they don't have it they get it or find ways to get residents access to it. On site clinic is so nice to have. My mom loves the Happy Hours, shopping the on site thrift store and the trips.

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

My mother had a severe case of the flu and was admitted to the skilled nursing facility. Although there were some bumpy moments for the first few days, the staff was always responsive to Mom's needs. Our family wants to especially thank the nursing, nursing assistant, OT and PT staff members for their excellent care.

The Village at Skyline is a beautiful place with nice facilities, but I am not sure what is considered "skilled" in the Skilled Nursing Facility there. The competency and professionalism of the staff, such as the administration, head nurses and especially doctors in skilled nursing leaves much to be desired. Communication, both among each other and with the patient or family is abysmal. They appear to be much more interested in keeping from getting sued than in patient care, make medication errors frequently, and they do not get to know their patients well at all. The ancillary staff such as the nurse's aids, physical and occupational therapists, and even the kitchen staff, on the other hand, are very diligent and caring, which is why I didn't rate it a single star. Overall, however, I have no confidence in the actual medical care and therefore would not recommend this facility for those with actual medical needs.
