Description of WoodRidge Place

The WoodRidge Place community is a small group home for seniors, licensed as a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly. Our six-resident community provides housing with supportive services and health-related care. Programs and services are designed to promote maximum independence of residents as well as honor their individual needs for dignity and respect. This is a good option for seniors who prefer or thrive in a smaller setting. Additionally, this community can be a less costly alternative for long-term residency.

Benefits of the Residency:

  • Private rooms are available to meet resident's preference and budget
  • Furnished rooms ready for personalizing by resident/family and wired for cable and private telephone
  • Personal assistance with activities of daily living, such as medications management, bathing and using the restroom, ensures residents have the supportive care they many need
  • Caring and professional staff with on-going training in "best practices" from the Alzheimer's Association and the Alzheimer's Aid Society
  • Residents health status and well-being are monitored
  • Optional licensed professionals to supplement the care provided whenever appropriate
  • Full schedule of activities allows residents to engage in meaningful and enjoyable pastimes, enjoy new friendships and socialize, remain engaged in life, and continue to be physically and mentally challenged
