Tour Walnut Grove

The best way to get to know a community is by scheduling a tour. See the facilities, meet the staff and residents, and get a feel first hand what it's like to live at Walnut Grove.

Description of Walnut Grove

Established in 1988, Walnut Grove Assisted Living and Memory Care Community is Modesto's hidden treasure in assisted living. A great place to call home, this quiet and relaxed community is conveniently located near freeway access, health services and many shopping venues.

Our social model encourages interaction between all residents. In fact, our unique environment offers an integrated community that focuses on relationships based on friendship and mutual acceptance, rather than cognitive or physical capabilities.

Walnut Grove consistently delivers the highest standards of service with dignity and respect for all. Our foundation is built on the firm belief that quality of care enhances quality of life for everyone. In keeping with our mission statement, we strive to maintain the optimal level of independence for each resident.

Memory Care

Walnut Grove offers personalized assistance to those suffering from memory impairment due to Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.

Each resident requires a different type of care. For example, re-direction, behavioral concerns, wandering and cueing to accomplish activities of daily living are some of the assistance we provide.

In order to clearly define and meet the needs of every resident, we provide six Levels of Care. Each level, from Basic Plus and Levels One through Four and Hospice, affords our residents the opportunity to remain as independent as possible. Over time, as residents physical needs change, Levels of Care change as well.
