This community has beautiful grounds and couple that with its adjacent location to the American River walking trail make this ideal for those who love to walk in a park like setting. You can feed the ducks or just sit and watch the squirrels. The inside is elegantly furnished with a grand piano and fireplace to welcome you on those chilly days. The building is a little older so once you get away from the common areas, the rest of the building is somewhat dated. The Memory Care area can only accommodate ten residents so there is often a waiting list for this service area. The fine dining area looks inviting, but the food is average. The management staff are great! They are very accommodating and really take an interest in their residents and make them feel like family.
