I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

My brother moved into the Bonaventure. It's an excellent community, and he's well-adjusted there. The food is excellent, well-rounded, nutritious, and it's enough to satisfy his hunger. He has a small dog, he does a lot of walking, he participates in the prayer when they have mass on Wednesday, and they have another service on Saturday. He goes to different functions, but he doesn't go shopping or out to casinos. He's happy where he's at, and he's made a lot of new friends, so it's a good place to be.

The Bonaventure was beautiful. The rooms were beautiful and clean. I have been there several times and I loved it. They had art and they played cards and dominoes. It was nice. The price was comparable to other places I have looked into.

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

We chose The Bonaventure because it was the only one available that had the apartment my parents wanted. It's very pretty inside. The food is good. The people are very pleasant, but my father complains that they're old. They like it, and we haven't run into any problems yet. I give the staff a 5, especially the dining staff. They care very much about the way it looks, so they take care of it well. It's always nice, clean, and neat. They have flower arrangements that aren't real, but they keep everything clean and maintain it well. They have a lot of things to do like exercises, art, games, and movies, but my parents don't get involved too much in the activities.

The Bonaventure's staff is very pleasant, and I am very satisfied. I am planning on moving there. I like the facility and the people who are working there. I should be happy there. The apartments are clean and a good size. I have nothing negative to say about them.

The Bonaventure mimics the one I visited from Simi Valley. The people were more cooperative, and the staff showed us whatever we wanted and were very congenial. They had an activities calendar as well and it looked loaded. However, Sunday was the day of rest for them, so they did not have anything going on. It was a very nice facility. Their dining area was set up like a restaurant.

The Bonaventure had nice-sized rooms. It’s not suited for my in-laws because it’s not assisted living, and you have to contract for somebody to do the things that we need. It’s for people who are more independent. It’s a beautiful place but not suited for what we need.
