I Visited This Facility

Las Brisas was a beautiful, well-maintained property with very nice units. Everybody seemed very nice. I was there during lunch, so they were mostly in the dining room. Everybody was very well dressed. It seemed like a very nice atmosphere for my mom. The staff was very nice and very accommodating. I've been to other facilities that aren't nearly as nice. It's a little dated, but everything was very clean.

The Las Brisas community was great and very upper-class. They have not just a cook, but a chef, and that's very important. The food was delicious. They have their own bus and a big parking lot, although the rooms are a bit small.

Las Brisas is a retirement place. I didn’t do a tour, but I was invited to have a snack while there was entertainment and dancing happening. It’s very nice there. The food was very good. The manager and the hospitality person called to arrange appointments and talk to people. They're all treated very well on a personal level, and I would say it's a happy community. They don't have a pool, but they have all of the amenities. It's really nice and private with all the shrubbery around it.

I Am A Current/Past Resident

Las Brisas is a nice place. One downside is they don't have enough parking, and if you have to park on the street, it's down the hill. The facility is nice, and the cost is competitive. The access to the rooms are from a hallway, and all the apartments that are on the first and third floor are not built on the hillside. All of them have an outside patio, which I really like. They serve three meals a day. I was there as a visitor, and they treated me really well.

Las Brisas was nice. The room was basically the same as in the other facility we saw if not as well kept. It had a bedroom, a living room, a small kitchen, and a place for a kitchen table. The staff was very friendly, very accommodating, very friendly, and answered all of our questions. I know they had activities, but we didn’t see anything going on. The day that we went, most of the residents had gone on an outing, which is good and means that they get out to go places.

Tour Las Brisas

The best way to get to know a community is by scheduling a tour. See the facilities, meet the staff and residents, and get a feel first hand what it's like to live at Las Brisas.

Description of Las Brisas

Perched on a hilltop overlooking the lights of San Luis Obispo, from our dining room you'll enjoy stunning views of the Irish Hills and Madonna Mountain. Though residents feel far away from it all, we're just minutes away from quaint downtown shopping, medical centers and dining. You'll want to explore destinations like the Mission de Tolosa, the Hearst Castle and all the natural splendor of the California coastline. Our caring and professional live-in managers want to make your time with us truly rewarding, and you'll wish you'd found us sooner.

Las Brisas is proud to be a Holiday Retirement community. Since 1971, Holiday Retirement has been creating superb residential communities where seniors feel a sense of home and belonging. This is what we like to call “The Holiday Touch.”

Featured Amenities

Residents enjoy their choice of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments that come in a selection of floor plans to suit any taste. All units come with private bathrooms, patios or balconies, in-suite climate controls and handy kitchenettes. Pets are also welcome to join their owners at Las Brisas.

Meals are served three times daily by professional wait staff in our formal dining room. Dishes are prepared from fresh ingredients by our trained chefs and can be made to accommodate the dietary needs of our residents.

Available Services

While staying at our community, each resident has the opportunity to participate in our exclusive travel program. Through this program, seniors can visit nearly any of our over 300 retirement communities for up to seven nights at no additional charge. During the visit, residents will enjoy all the same service and amenities they enjoy at home while having the chance to meet new friends and experience new places.

As part of our all-inclusive lifestyle, our staff take care of the housekeeping and linen changing. We even offer complimentary shuttle service to help residents get where they need to go safely and conveniently.

At Las Brisas, we strive to make our residents feel right at home.
