Estancia Del Sol was a really nice place. The staff was very helpful, very friendly, and very nice. It would have been fantastic, and I wouldn’t mind living there myself. The place was smaller than some of the places we looked at.

My grandma has been living at Estancia del Sol for over a year. She is 98 years old and in a wheelchair ever since she fell and had hip surgery. She needs a high level of care since she cannot stand or walk on her own at all. She was in a different assisted living facility in Corona previously, where she was not being well taken care of at all, so after less than a month we moved her out of there and tried the respite care for two weeks at Estancia del Sol. After two weeks, we could tell the huge difference and moved her in permanently. The staff and care have been great, but as the months have gone by the facility has nearly filled up. There are now over twice as many residents as when my grandma moved in. Thus, the level of personal care has dropped somewhat. For example, it is now extremely hard to arrange transportation for doctor appointments. My Grandma has to be transported in her wheelchair, so we rely on Estancia to transport her in their bus. Transportation to doctor appointments is restricted to two afternoons and one morning a week, so when my Grandma becomes ill and needs to go to the doctor at another time, we may have to hire an outside driver to take her. Also, there often isn't a weekend driver for the bus, so she is unable to go to church. With all of that said, I still think Estancia del Sol is the best facility of its kind in the Corona area, and have no intentions of moving my Grandma.

When the time came for Mom to stop living alone, Estancia Del Sol provided an excellent environment for her to maintain her "independence" but be in safe, enriching setting. She enjoys both privacy and socializing, and especially appreciates the caring staff. She is limited by advanced Macular Degeneration and the facility and staff enable her to be more active than was possible in her previous living situation. The facility is well designed and beautiful. The individual apartments are upscale and convenient, tailored to the needs of seniors. The food is very good, and served restaurant style, no buffet lines.

We have my mom in the Renaissance section of Estancia (memory care). The facilities are beautiful and immaculate, and the caring staff is always available. My mom is looked after and there is always communication between staff and myself when a need arises concerning my mom. The staff knows us on a personal basis and they take excellent care of my mom. The food is excellent, and there are always activities including ones that we can participate in also. The staff is caring and she's safe there. I would highly recommend this place if you have a loved one with dementia/Alzheimers.

My stepdad was on hospice forever. Mom took care of him along with wonderful, and some not, caregivers for years. After the funeral there was much family drama but mom was determined to live on by herself in the beautiful ocean condo estate as long as she could. Within 2 years mom was lonely and crying out for help. My daughter, Brooke, knew about a new assisted living facility that might be just right for us, but mom resisted. Brooke and I made an appointment and toured the facility anyway. I tried to hide the tears in my eyes when we walked in on "happy hour" at Estancia Del Sol. I knew this was a place I could live and Brooke agreed. Every employee, team member, chef, registered nurse, waitress, and the special girls that clean moms room were the most sincere and genuinely caring crew I have ever encountered. At this time may I give special thanks to Steven, Susie, Carrie, Coty, and above all Chad and my gifted daughter Brooke for the support they gave me at a gutrenching crossroad in my life. You can't imagine how grateful I am. I am so thrilled that Mom can have the pampering she so richly deserves at this time in her life. Sincerely, Linda Daughter of a resident at Estancia

They have excelled at helping my grandmother transition to living in a memory care facility. The staff are always helpful when you visit. They do all they can to make life better for the individuals they provide care for.

Estancia Del Sol was very favorable, new, and built with the seniors in mind. The rooms were well appointed, and the bathrooms and hallways were well thought out. Everything was flat, and the corners were rounded. The elevators were oversized to accommodate wheelchairs and walkers. The dining facility was beautiful. The place was just beautifully done. The cost isn’t bad for what you’re getting. The staff members were very pleasant and very engaged. There were a lot of staff members around taking care of everyone. I liked their theater and their computer set up. They do music in the lounge area, had a piano, brought people in for little concerts, take them out, go on shopping excursions, and go to musical theater. They’re always celebrating something.

Estancia Del Sol had good accommodations. My mother-in-law was coming out of rehab, and my father-in-law just had a pacemaker placed in. We paid a deposit and were getting ready to move them in when at the very last minute, they sent this LVN out and refused to place dad because they said he was a wanderer and all that stuff. But he wasn’t, and it wasn’t true. What happened was that he was only a level one over at the other place for care, so he knew his way around the place. He knew how to walk over and find Mom in a different wing, stay in her room, have lunch with her, or go over to the social areas. This LVN came in and basically shut us out of Estancia, and it took us about a month to get our $500 deposit back. They put us in a bad spot because they turned us down two business days before we had to have her out of the nursing place. They waited a week and a half later, at the last minute, to send an LVN out. We were counting on this place for three business days, and all of a sudden we had one business day to find a place. What happened was she wrote a medical report that said he has dementia. He had the pacemaker put in, and then his doctor updated his diagnosis to mild cognitive impairment, but she wouldn’t accept the doctors’ latest diagnosis. They put us in a bad spot.

Estancia Del Sol was really good and very clean. I have nothing bad to say about them so far. The dining room is very professional-looking, and I ate there one time and thought the food was really good. The rooms were a little small but very clean and had more closet space than the others. They have an activity list that they provided for my mother.
