I Visited This Facility

My visit at Atria Park Lafayette was great. It was a beautiful community with everything you'd hope to have, although it's expensive, so we're hesitating. They showed us one studio apartment that was very high-end. There were a lot of activities going on, the facilities were new, and the place was clean and bright. Aside from housekeeping, they had three meals a day plus snacks available, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They had a whole menu of assisted living facilities if we needed it.

Atria Park of Lafayette is an outstanding community that's newer than one of its sister communities we have visited. It's a very large place. The dining area is large and comfortable. There are lots of options on the menu. It was a very good experience. They have everything from daily movies to outings to town, shopping, and casino, and a variety of activities off site. They also provide transportation to and from the doctors' and the grounds are impeccably maintained.

Atria Park of Lafayette was very nice. It's assisted living and memory care and very expensive. They had a beautiful view, they had a great dining room, a nice exercise center and activities, and they have a theater. The facilities were very nice, but they were a little bit more limited than what we were looking for. It seems to cater more to memory care and my clients were looking for a place that is more active. Though there are things there to do, it was really geared more toward memory care. We didn't eat any of the food, but we were there at lunchtime and the food looked great. They have a personal chef there, but the individual rooms were very small.

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

My mother is in the memory care of Atria Park. The director and the staff is fabulous, they do well with what they work with. They're very caring, and very engaging with the activities. I felt I picked the best place there is.

I think Atria Park of Lafayette was very nice and positive. Mom and Dad have not made a decision, but it was a good place with very nice rooms and amenities. The staff was very friendly and I like them. I didn’t notice anything that needs improvement. The food was good.

Atria Park of Lafayette is a nice, somewhat newer community, in a very quiet area, yet very convenient to local shopping and dining, that has 103 apartments, with a 22 person memory care community. They offer all day dining, a movie theatre with daily movies, a massage room, a full service salon and on-site religious services, as well as excursions to local churches for worship. They offer a hydro spa tub for residents to take a relaxing bath, a billards/table tennis room, game room, and Friday happy hour. Each apartment in the independent/assisted living area is equipped with a kitchenette with a microwave, sink and refrigerator/freezer. Their private dining room for residents and their families has a full kitchen, where residents and their families can make favorite family recipes, or any other cooking adventures they want to partake in. Atria Park of Lafayette is an enhanced care community, which offers additional residents' needs that many others do not offer. They are currently offering a special until the end of September that would not have a rent increase until 2017. This is the first community I have visited that has offered this. This is a lovely community and I highly recommend it!
