I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident
I chose Amber Grove for my mom, and she really likes it. She likes the staff, and they have wonderful people working for them. The building is beautiful, and I love the way it's laid out. It's laid out in a circle, and in the center is a garden. They have beautiful, polished wood railings along the sides, which the residents use a lot. The meals look good. They get little snacks in the afternoon, and it seems that the residents look forward to the meals. Her room is clean, and you can borrow furniture from the main house. Somebody comes, plays the piano, and sings old time songs. Interns from the universities come in and have activities with the seniors as part of their internship. The activities are varied as well. My concern is with the schedule of the laundry services.

Description of Amber Grove Place - An Anthem Community
At Amber Grove Place, we strive to create a “new normal” for seniors and their families coping with the effects of dementia or memory loss. By providing resident-centered activities and encouraging socializing, we create an atmosphere that is supportive and enhances the well-being of our residents.
Amber Grove Place is one of many Anthem Memory Care communities located in Colorado and California. By specializing in providing care for seniors afflicted with Alzheimer's and dementia, Anthem Memory Care can design communities that address the needs of these seniors to ensure they live a life worth living.
For your loved one's new home, we offer three floor plans to choose from. All consist of a private room with the option of a shared or private bathroom. We provide housekeeping services to keep everything tidy. Outside each room is a memory box that not only serves as a memory cue, but it also allows staff and residents to create connections and share memories.
We create a life-enriching setting by offering activities that stimulate the mind and offer a break from the routine. Whether it is scenic drives, music therapy, an afternoon of gardening or a pet visit, there are plenty of activities for your loved one to join. For quiet moments, there is a secure courtyard where residents can take walks or community gathering areas to sit and reflect.
Meal times are an important part of the day at Amber Grove Place, and the community dining room is filled with the smells of home-cooked meals three times a day. Our staff work closely with your loved one's physician to create the most nutritious meal plan that we can serve. To accommodate our residents' eating schedules, meal times are unstructured and snacks are available throughout the day.
Upon joining our community, we create an individual service plan for each resident, and it is updated regularly to ensure we are delivering the appropriate level of care. Our staff provide assistance with activities of daily living, and medication management is supervisions by licensed vocational nurse. We also offer therapeutic activities that are designed to enhance the well-being of our residents.
Bringing joy, purpose and passion to the lives of seniors with memory loss or dementia is our mission at Amber Grove Place.
