I Visited This Community
Maravilla Scottsdale is a one of a kind senior community in Arizona. The first time that I visited the community for a meeting, I was very surprised at how beautiful it was. If the top rating was 10 stars I would give them that. The community is located on a large tract of land in Scottsdale with an impressive entrance that is majestic and resembles a sophisticated, elegant entrace to a private residence. I have attended many meetings at the community and if ever I were to retire I would move to the Maravilla Scottsdale. The entrance is gorgeous and huge with marvelous paintings, big plants, excellent architecture inside and outside that is elegant and refined in taste. Even the elevators are top notch and majestic looking. Marble and polished wood floors, beautiful rugs in some areas give the place a luxurious feel. The high vaulted ceilings everywhere makes the community feel very spacious. The hair salon and theater, the poll and spa, make life at the community feel like a vacation. The community offers different levels of care and support so is a good fit for just about anyone. Because the community is very flexible with their levels of care a resident can remain in their same apartment and additional care can be supplied as needed without having to move. The amenities that make life easy is the housekeeping and linen and personal laundry service. Along with 3 meals a day and snacks in the dining room, everything that you need is taken care of including basic cable T.V. The community has 24 hour staffing and 24 hour reception desk coverage. In case of an emergency the community has a 24 hour call system with a connection to a Nurse that is monitored from the nursing side of the community. All services are offered 7 days a week. Each studio or apartment comes with an enclosed patio, bathroom with handicap and safety features, smoke detectors linked to a sprinkler system. The workers exhibit manners and knowledge with a lot of compassion for residents. They always are respectful of the residents and are very understanding of issues that residents may have. I believe that whatever training the community provides is excellent and it really shows. The community is pricey and not for everyone's budget but it is definitely a must to tour.
