The community just underwent a remodel, and has all new furniture and carpets throughout. The food is amazing! They have live-in managers that really care. One time, late at night, I thought I was having a heart attack, and the managers got me help, and sat up with me until help arrived! I always thought Desert Rose was just another old age home, but what I found was that it is so much better! It's not assisted living. It's independant living, with assistance. I still drive my car, however, when I can't, they have a community van that takes me.

WONDERFUL community! The executive chef prepares amazing meals, the staff is extremely helpful, and being it is "all inclusive" (utilities, food, etc) the value can't be beat. The community managers actually live on the property, and are always there for you. They have great activities and entertainment, and it's like being on a cruise ship (without the water). I highly encourage you to visit Desert Rose for lunch and a tour.
