Beatitudes Campus was a nice place. Many of my friends are going there. The staff was very nice; the marketing people gave a good presentation. Beatitudes Campus had an option of renting. However, the rental facilities go down a very busy street. It was also like a motel, which is horrible.

Provider Response

Thank you for your kind review regarding Beatitudes Campus! We are indeed proud of our staff and all of the campus residents who make the environment so welcoming. We do have other rental options located further toward the interior of the campus that I would personally like to invite you back to tour. Please feel free to give me a call at 602-995-6107 to have lunch and we can talk more about them. Best regards, Rod Bailey, Senior Vice President

Beatitudes Campus was a lovely place. If you have $180,000, you can buy in. It was way above what I could afford. It includes $200 per person per month for the restaurant in independent living, so you get $400 for the two of you for meals, and once that's gone, you pay more. They have a lot of activities, transportation, and almost anything that you would like in that kind of community. It was just the price. I was so excited by the time I was done discussing with them, until we came down to the nitty-gritty of money, but I thought it was a great place. It’s a nice area and community, and it's large so there are a lot of people you could interact with. The person who talked to me was absolutely wonderful.

The fact that Beatitudes Campus was a little too institutional with the tall buildings was the biggest drawback for us. The person who took us around was professional enough, but she was kind of a downer. The place seemed to be nicely-appointed in the common areas, but it was really not a good experience for us. We had lunch in the dining room, and my husband talked to some people who were very friendly. There was a library, common area, and an exercise room, which is an important component of our lifestyle.

Beatitudes has always been one of my favorite senior living communities. The campus is enormous and packed full of awesome and fun opportunities for a healthy, active, and independent lifestyle. There are 3 different sets of apartment buildings apartments as well as patio homes depending on which living style a resident may prefer. The apartments range in size from studios, 1 bedroom, 1 bedroom with den, 2 bedroom, and 2 bedroom with den floorplans. The patio homes consist of 2 and 3 bedroom designs, both with garages and cute front and back porches. All floorplans offer full kitchens. The size and design of the floorplans from smallest to largest is very well set up, offering great space for socializing and relaxing and ample storage space. For independent living residents, you really can’t go wrong with any of the floor plans offered – and small pets are always welcome! There is SO, SO, SO much to do throughout the campus – depending on what you are in the mood for, you can enjoy long walks along the beautiful walking paths or on chilly desert nights you can warm up in front of the fireplace on the beautiful veranda. You can go shopping with friends’ right on campus at the adorable gift shop or the thrift shop. You can sweat it out at the fully-equipped gym and fitness studios or swim laps in the gorgeous pool and then relax those muscles in the hot tub. You can enjoy gardening, arts and crafts, fun activities, and live entertainment with fellow residents and friends. You can test your hand at woodworking or ceramics in the studios. There are also great volunteer opportunities available to residents who like to contribute. Enjoy a life of convenience with the on-site bank, doctor’s office, library, chapel, and computer center. Get pampered at the Town Plaza Salon. And all this is just the tip of the iceberg – your days at Beatitudes will be filled with love, laughter, and lots of fun. Your days will be filled with the things YOU want to without having to worry about everyday tasks such as laundry, cleaning, maintenance, etc. As far as food service, you couldn’t find better if you tried! If you are hungry, you can enjoy several dining options from cafe style to casual to fine dining – or how about happy hour with friends at the Plaza Club Bar or coffee breaks at the Corner Perk coffee house?! Beatitudes Campus is an exceptional community that can offer residents so much more than just a place to live – they can offer an active lifestyle full of options, fun, and friendship. You really can’t go wrong here.
