This place is a nightmare! Have had nothing but problems since I started dealing with this place. First of all don't consider going to this place for rehab unless you plan on being there for a long time. My friend was suppose to be in there for 3 weeks tops! It's been over 6 weeks now! We told millcroft ok that's enough but they still tried holding on to my friend. Now that the family is insisting that he come home..... Millcroft has resorted to threats that they won't order home care! These people will hold on to your loved ones and milk their insurance company for every penny they can. Some of the staff are nice but that does not make up for the lack of care that they provide. Hit the call button and you may get help 30 mins later! Too bad if you need help to use the restroom because they do not care and will make you wait! These people do not care about anything but putting in the house to get paid! They clock in and they clock out! Good luck finding someone that actually cares about people! This place sucks
Our Mom was admitted into Millcroft Rehab in the morning around 10am, the family didn't get a chance to get in and visit her until after work at around 6. Mom was very upset, she wanted to leave and go back to the hospital. She didn't get her afternoon or before her dinner medication. She didn't get lunch and someone stopped in to give her a sugar snack around 2, our Mom is diabetic. She put her call help button on twice, each time a person would stop in and turn off the call help button, she would explain that she never got her medication or any meals. Each time the person ( Mom said two different people) would get a nurse. My wife went to speak to someone in charge, spoke with a very nice girl. Who was also clueless that Mom was even admitted, but someone must have know, there was a nice sign that welcome with her name on it with a flower. The nurse explained that no one said anything when her shift came on and nothing was written in some 24 hour book. We asked to speak with the person in charge, nurse told my wife that John and Crystal (Nurses in charge) left for the day and the administrator also left. We left 3 messages on the administrator voice machine, but Ms. Duka never returned our calls. My wife did reach out to the hospital that sent Mom to Millcroft rehab and explain the situation to two senior leaders of Christiana Hospital. Hopefully they can straight out the issues. It still has been close to a week and still no call back from Ms. Duka.
