Featured Amenities

We offer deluxe studio, one- and two-bedroom floor plans for our seniors to choose from. Each of these private apartments comes outfitted with handicap-accessible bathrooms, kitchenettes, individually controlled thermostats and granite countertops. In addition, each apartment is equipped with a 24-hour, state-of-the-art emergency call system.

When looking for a tasty treat, residents can visit our Penny Candy Store, while delicious, locally sourced meals are prepared fresh and served daily in our community dining room. Our theater room is ideal for watching movies, and the library is well-stocked with a variety of reading materials.

Available Services

Residents here at Maplewood at Newtown in need of basic daily assistance are cared for through The Vistas™ assisted living services. Talented staff members are on site around the clock and are available to help with grooming, dressing, medication management and other activities of daily living.

For seniors who face the ever-present challenge of dementia, we offer two levels of specialized memory care. The first is Tides™, which is designed for seniors who are experiencing the early stages of dementia. The second is The Currents™, where residents who have mid- to late-stages of memory loss reside in a secure portion of our community. This section features its very own kitchen, secured outdoor grounds and private apartments.

I Visited This Community

Building and grounds are well kept, free of debris and inviting. Greeted with a smile at the entrance, a quick walk through the common areas and dining room indicated high expectations of staff in housekeeping, décor and orderliness. Designed to be inviting and comfortable, many active and engaged clients were out and about! Smiles all around!
