Colorado Springs Retirement Communities are located in the second most populous city in Colorado, located 65 miles south of the Colorado State Capitol in Denver. Situated at the foot of Pikes Peak, Colorado Springs sprung up to support the rush for precious metals, but has since found other lucrative industries in health, tourism and catering to the American military. Its attractive location has helped Colorado Springs’ population expand to more than 400,000 in 2010, while its amenities ensure that it is one of the best American big cities in which to live.
