Brookdale San Juan Capistrano was the nicest place I visited. It's beautiful, very friendly, the people there seem to enjoy it, and the little apartments are clean. The dining area looked like a very nice restaurant. They have group discussions, a library, a restaurant, a little coffee shop with coffee, cookies, and snacks for free all the time, an outdoor patio where you can go outside around the garden, a little walking path, and a nice sitting area out front. It's where I wanted my uncle to go.
Brookdale San Juan Capistrano didn't have a swimming pool, which I would have liked. The place was OK, but I didn't care for it that much. The food was good, though. The person that gave us the tour wasn't very accommodating. We had to wait a long time and we had to wait a long time for the food, too. They had a gym, painting classes, a movie room, and a room for games and Bingo.

I really like Brookdale San Juan Capistrano, it was very nice. Everything was in tip-top condition. What I saw was very impressive. I saw a studio apartment and I like it very much. In the dining room, everything looked clean and wonderful. The lady who told me the information that I was looking for was very knowledgeable and very nice. I was very impressed with this place.
My father was in Brookdale. People were punching because they were agitated in the memory care unit, so I got him out of there. The staff cried when he left because they loved him, and it was a very emotional parting. I was only there a couple of times. I understand it was good, but you had to go through locked doors, like a prison. The food service and everything was fantastic, everybody was fantastic. They had music, art work, walking, and outdoor activities. The rooms were great because he had his own bathroom, and they did his laundry and everything. He had a beautiful view of the mountains and the beautiful flowers. Now, he’s looking at a brick wall where he is. It was gorgeous, and I loved it.
The rooms are fine at Brookdale San Juan Capistrano. We ate a nutritious lunch there. They play bingo, have people play music, and have more than enough activities for my mother-in-law. She spent six nights at the place until she fell down and fractured her spine, and we moved her to a nursing home. I love the place.
My mom is all settled in at Brookdale San Juan Capistrano. The facility is nice physically and has a memory care facility where they really know what they doing. She has her own room and says that the food is especially good. They seem to have a good understanding on how to handle dementia patients that the other facilities do not have. The memory care nurse is the one that I deal with most, and she is very competent.
We went to Brookdale (Brookdale San Juan Capistrano). The staff was lovely, but I was underwhelmed by the facility. I wouldn’t live there. It is really a fine, lovely place, but I’m just not interested. They have an activity center but no pool. The amenities were fairly limited. The dining area was fine, and the food was very good.
I visited Brookdale San Juan Capistrano, which was a very nice place. Everything about it was very nice, though it looked a little old. We walked into the rooms, which were bright, newly painted, and newly carpeted. I could see making it really nice with furniture. The hallways on the outside were a little dark, though.
I thought Brookdale was the best of the three that I visited. It is a large facility with good-sized rooms, and the staff was very nice. The dining area was very nice and felt high-end. They had skilled nursing, as well.
My mom has lived in Brookdale for a month and a half now. The people are very friendly, it’s run very professionally, and they make sure that they involve her in a lot of activities. They do her laundry, clean her room, have the lifeline, and include cable and TV. She loves all of their meals, which are of very good quality. They welcome the family, constantly have events, and take them out on outings on a regular basis. They make sure that all the residents are presentable. Her room is a single bedroom with a sitting room and kitchenette. She has her own furniture, loves her location, has a large closet, and new carpeting. Everything is spotless all of the time. The cost was less than the others, and for what you get, it's very reasonable.
Brookdale San Juan Capistrano's dining room and the service were nice. The food was OK. They had skilled nursing and memory care besides the regular, and that was good. They had the assisted and independent on one side, and memory care and skilled nursing on the other, which was a plus. The staff was excellent, very nice, very helpful, and always smiling. The price was good and included a lot, like housekeeping, laundry, three meals a day, Wi-Fi, and cable. The place was very clean and smelled great, and had lots of flowers everywhere.
