The rooms in Eskaton Village Roseville are good, and the staff is very good. The activities are limited. They do candy bingo, balloon volleyball, and also blackjack. There's just not enough for people who are alive like me. There's just stuff for people who are half-dead. They have a swimming pool, a weight room, and physical therapy from time to time. I'm in an apartment in the main building. The facilities are good, the place is always kept clean and neat, and the staff is always responsive. The food is OK, but the activities are weak and are geared for people who are sleepy, old, and not able to do much. They should have more activities for people who are stronger. The value for the money is pretty good.

A Loved One

Eskaton Village Roseville's rooms were adequate, but there was not a lot of storage space. My in-laws are in assisted living. They have meals in the dining area, and they do a wonderful job. The people are very nice.

My mother ended up in Eskaton Village Roseville. It's great and they have a lot of activities. Everyone's really friendly and really nice, and they check on her. The grounds are very nice and kept up very well. It's topnotch and you pay for it too. It's expensive. They have buses that come and take them shopping, to church, and they do different activities. I would highly recommend it if you can afford it. She goes to trivia, but because of her hearing problems, she does more exercises like balloon volleyball. It's a pretty big facility and she's has an electric wheelchair. They have memory care, they play candy bingo, and they have a salon there to get your hair and nails done. Her room has a little kitchenette with a microwave, a refrigerator, a sink, a small living area, a little dining room table with a couple of chairs, a separate bedroom, a good-sized bathroom, and a good-sized closet. She likes it. They have a wide variety off their set menu for the day, but you can also order other things, which would be extra added onto your bill. You can eat in your room. You can order hamburger or something and have it brought to your room, and that would be a little bit extra. The only bad thing is you don't get any reception there on your cell phone, at least for my carrier.

My mother stayed at Eskaton Village Roseville, and it was horrible. The food was good, but everything else was terrible. I don’t know if the staff was overworked, but they certainly indicated they were overworked, but the rooms were nice, and the place was brand new, nice and clean.
