We toured Meridian Gardens of Anaheim, but I didn't like that the floors weren't carpeted. My wife could fall and I felt like safety wasn't one of their important issues. Price-wise, they give you a low price over the phone, but when we got there and discussed my wife's needs, the price got exorbitantly high. They showed me an unoccupied room which was very tidy. They also said they have amenities -- even though I didn't get to see them -- and I met the director that schedules the meetings.
Meridian Gardens of Anaheim was a wonderful facility. The rooms were clean. I loved every aspect of this facility, from the rooms, to the dining room, to the recreation. The staff was friendly. I liked everything about the facility. They hved devotional services from various religions, which I really liked. They have a library, exercise classes, movies, and once a week they take people to the mall so they can do their shopping. They have a lot of different activities and their menu is very varied.
Meridian Gardens of Anaheim was really nice and clean, and the building was well-taken care of. They had good food, a good chef, and good staff. The chef was one of the first few people I met, and he talked about the menu and was very friendly and interacted a lot with the people there. I got a good impression of them. The rooms I saw were very nice, but it's too expensive for me. The staff member who took me around answered my questions and also asked me questions regarding my grandmother; she's a generally nice person.
We toured the whole of Meridian Gardens of Anaheim. We thought it was really well run and we really liked it. We spoke with a woman named Jennifer who was just lovely, very caring and concerned, and she knew the names of most of the residents that we ran into during the time we were visiting. It was a nice thing to witness that she actually knew the people. It was a lovely visit and we really enjoyed the facility. We did not eat there, but the food looked appetizing, and the dining area was clean.
My sister is moving into the memory care center of Meridian Gardens of Anaheim. It has been recently renovated. They have their own bedroom, dining room, patio, and movie theater. I think the quality of care is better. My sister has many problems with her dementia and anger, but I think they have techniques that could help her before she gets too angry. I like the activities, and I think the people are very caring.
Of all the places I saw, I liked Meridian Gardens the best. I liked the way it was setup. They had three separate floors for each type of care available: memory care, assisted, and independent. The staff seemed very nice, I saw them talking to residents, and everybody seemed happy to be there.
I liked Meridian Gardens of Anaheim because it's very nice. The staff was very friendly and very nice. Everything about the place was really good. I tried the food and it was very good. The dining area looked like a really good restaurant, not like a cafeteria.
We visited Meridian Gardens of Anaheim, and they were very accommodating, very helpful, they'd take you into a very comfortable office, talk over with you, ask what your needs were, what they provide, and give you someone to take you on a tour, and introduce you to staff, and the staff talk with you. The residents were happy and would also talk with you. They had their courtyard under construction. However, it was a little smaller as far as lobby, dining area, rooms, and activity areas. There weren't a lot of places to hang out. They're just mainly scheduled activity areas.
Meridian Gardens was very nice, but the rooms were a bit plain without good views. They were updating the facility. The staff was very nice, and they will personalize dad's care. They also had a lot of activities, and their price was all-inclusive.
Meridian Gardens of Anaheim is very clean. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and caring. They are doing a great job with the food. They have housekeeping once a week, which is good. They also have all the medications distributed through their med tech and laundry once a week. It seems to be fitting my brother's needs just fine. He is sharing a room, but it is an affordable, good place. They have independent, assisted, and Alzheimer's units there.
