Offering gracious and comfortable assisted living, The Lodge is located in the cozy town of Fairmount, Georgia. Our lovely home-like community is nestled in a peaceful neighborhood on the lagoon of Harbor Bay in Alameda, California. Nearby are numerous walking trails where residents and neighbors can be found strolling, as well as plentiful shopping venues, cafes and other services moments away.

The Lodge is owned and operated by AEC Living, which oversees a group of independently operated communities, serving East Bay seniors. Each of our communities complements each other, providing a range of services to best promote quality of life, allowing our residents to maintain their freedom and independence.

Within our tastefully landscaped grounds and welcoming doors, you find private and semi-private studio and one-bedroom apartments with kitchenettes. Each unit comes complete with safety features, individual climate control and carpeting for your comfort. Our common areas include home-like rooms and brightly lit common areas where residents, friends and family can socialize.

The Lodge’ staff prepares three well-balanced meals per day in addition to wholesome snacks. A well-rounded variety of activities are organized and crafted by our staff, designed to stimulate both the body and mind including social events, outings and games.

Available Services

Never fret about the necessities of maintenance or housekeeping as we are there to handle those chores. With the exception of cable and telephone service, utilities are included in your monthly rates. Additionally, some transportation services are provided to residents as well, to help get to appointments or just for local shopping trips.

Working with family and physicians we put together a care plan for each resident, ensuring that wellness needs are met physically, mentally and spiritually. Our caregivers are there to proactively help with activities of daily living such as mobility, grooming, bathing, and medication management. Because we have staff available around the clock, seven days a week, your safety, security and health are ensured.
