They tend to stay short staffed especially in the memory care unit. People are not changed enough if they have incontinence issues. People fall quite a bit there and precautions to prevent this are not put in place. The nightshift staff rather watch tv in a back room then actually check on patients.

While at Brookdale, mom fell about 15 times with 5 of them so severe as to require trips to the ER for xrays, CT scans, stitches, lacerations, etc. I have all the bloody photos as proof...
