Ashley Gardens Alzheimer's Special Care Center was designed from the ground up to support not only the physical needs, but emotional needs of those struggling with cognitive loss associated with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.
Our mission is to inspire and nurture successful aging each and every day, and we encourage every resident of our active rental retirement community to reach out and grab more of life while they keep control of their future.
Ashley River was nice, and the people there were very friendly, but it’s kind of weird as the building on the road is not the main building you go into. The one right on the main road was for Alzheimer’s, so we parked in the wrong place; that was the only complaint. We had lunch there, and the food was good....
Ashley River was good, and I was pleased with it. They were sitting out in the music room and listening to a little concert when we were there. I saw one room that was small, but adequate, and very nice. The dining area was very nice, and the staff was very friendly and very helpful.
I visited Ashley Park Charleston. It’s a very nice, organized place. The food was very tasty with various options to select. The staff was wonderful, very efficient, and very organized with activities. If I was looking for a community like this, I would definitely choose to go there. However, it was just too small for me; I’d be claustrophobic.
