We moved Mom out of Brookdale Saginaw because they moved her into the memory care part, and we had to pay double the amount we're paying when she was still at the assisted living part. There was a lady there who screams all the time, and then there was a man coming in her room...

Constant change which disrupts the residents. Rents are well above market for the area. Many vacancies. RE: Question #4 Quality of Care - There is no care. These are privately leased apartments. Any "care" is purchased through another company for an additional charge.

We loved Wescourt. We didn't have any problems with it. The rooms were very nice and adequate for what my mother-in-law is going to need for space. My husband and I thought it was fine. The man that helped us out was very friendly and nice. They had a laundry room. My husband and I both said we'd live there.

New Hope Valley Retirement Community

New Hope Valley Retirement Community is on one floor. The community is nice and quiet. It's in the suburbs and not in the business area. Next to them, they had assisted living, which is what I like about the community. It's across the road which makes it nice because we are getting older.
