Newer facility with nice amenities. The staff could afford to be a bit more attentive to residents when the call button has been pushed. Unfortunately, the time it takes for a staff member to respond is too long. This is something that can be easily corrected by management, however.
The staff and physical therapy staff were great. I would have rated the facility all five stars except sometimes short staff and my mom had to wait for help. Otherwise would recommend it for loved ones.
Very hospital-like feel to the facility. Nursing staff at one wing aren't up to date on the care of and nursing staff at the other wing. There seems to be a definite lack of communication between staff and care providers of the facility.
In June of 2014 my parents chose Emeritus at Roslyn as their preferred living location. Things went well until Brookdale purchased Emertius. Since then the quality of food, service, management and nursing care have all declined rapidly. I am discussing searching for a new location for my parents
