I was able to tour Newport Beach Plaza, and the rooms that I saw was a bit rundown and small. The staff seemed nice. They don’t have many activities, and my mom is pretty active. We did not stay that long because we knew it was not a good fit for my mom.

Atria Newport Plaza was what I expected from a senior living home and I didn't care for it. It didn't give me a good feel. It was more like an old folk's home and it did not give me a homey vibe. I didn't like how it was laid out.

Nice and clean community. Residents are busy with activities. They have happy hour. Rooms are bigger than other assisted living in the area. Staff greeted us when we toured and they seem genuinely happy.
