I am really pleased with Brookdale Fresno. I like everything about it. They take us to the store and to the doctors as well. The good thing also about this place is that I can afford it. I am very satisfied living here.

Cottonwood is a regular assisted living. It’s pleasant because the employees were very friendly, and the place itself is light and cheerful with lots of windows. The rooms are very small just the way they are, just what you would expect. They don’t have a pool, but they did have a room that they use as a chapel.

My friend was in Oakmont of Fresno for 6 weeks. The service was great. It was a perfect fit. He was in hospice, but it was like coming home. The staff and the administrators were excellent. We had to put him in a memory care unit from assisted living and they eased it in gently and beautifully. They were wonderful.

Oakmont was really close to Mom's house, and it was only two miles from the house. They don't have a 2-bedroom available, only a 1-bedroom. They have less activities, but it's centrally located, and she can do more shopping there.

Sunrise of Fresno

I didn’t like Sunrise of Fresno because it felt cramped and some areas seemed dirty. The staff was OK. The residents in the memory care area were having an interactive discussion activity to help them with their memory. The menu looked OK and had normal things, like soup, shrimp, and chicken.
