I decided it was time to consider moving from my Cottage, which I loved, to the Lodge, which would be more practical. That meant giving up my psychotherapy practice. I had used the second bedroom of the cottage as my office and had continued the work I had been doing for so many years in Snowmass Village and before that in the suburbs of Chicago. I only worked part time. To my surprise the referrals kept coming and I kept working. However, I decided that after 45 years of being a therapist it was time to stop. So in the spring of 2012, now a widow for two years, I began planning to move.
