For the Community/Service Provider

Q: How do I enter my community/service provider into the Best Senior Living Communities awards program?

A: Your community/service provider will automatically be included in the Best Senior Living Communities awards program as we launch the program in each state. You can learn more about this at the Best Senior Living Communities – Program Details and Rules page.


Q: Is there any cost to enter my community/service provider into the awards program?

A: No. Any community/service provider listed on will be entered.

Q: How long is the awards program running?

A: The awards program is held in select metropolitan markets for set periods of time, so please visit the Best Senior Living Communities – Program Details and Rules page to see when the awards program is being held in your area.


Q: Will my community/service provider be able to receive reviews after the awards program has ended?

A: Yes. Once reviews of your community/service provider are enabled, individuals can leave them at any time both during and after the awards program.


Q: Will I be able to respond to reviews of my community/service?

A: Yes. An email notification will be sent to you each time a review of your community is posted.


Q: Will someone be monitoring the reviews for inappropriate content?

A: Yes. As detailed on our Review Creation Policies page, any content that does not meet a specified set of standards will not be published.


Q: A review left about my community/service provider contained content I would like to respond to. Is there any way I can do this?

A: Yes. In the email you received notifying you that a review was posted about your community/service provider is a link to a page where you can respond to a review. This response will be moderated for content in the same way that reviews are as defined on our Review Creation Policies before being published.


Q: I feel that a review posted about my community/service provider does not meet the Review Creation Policies. What can I do?

A: Visit our Flag a Review on page to learn the steps you can take in addressing a questionable review.


For the Reviewer

Q: I would like to leave a review of a community/service provider. How can I find them?

A: You can search for the community/service provider by going to the homepage. On the left hand side you will see the Find a Senior Home search tool. By selecting the type of community/service provider you are looking for and entering in the city, state or zip code of the location, you can see if the community/service provider is listed on our website.


Q: I left a review for a community/service provider but don’t see it yet. When will my review be published?

A: We do our best to moderate reviews within three business days. Once the content of your review has been approved by a moderator, it will be published and an email notification will be sent to your email address.


Q: I want to leave a review, but I don’t want my personal information to be displayed.

A: With the review will be displayed a screen name that you provide and your relationship with the community/service provider, i.e. a resident, friend etc.


Q: How do I know that my review will be counted toward the Best Senior living Communities awards program?

A: If you submit a review during the awards program period, your review will be used in the awards program.
