Woodland Heights

I visited this facility

Woodland Heights was a very nice facility, but the visitor parking was not very good. They had parking in the back for the residents which was better. Also, the walk-in at the entrance would not be good for my brother in law who has vertigo. The theater area and exercise room was well provisioned and staffed. The rooms were smaller, a little old-fashioned, but they were well cared-for, clean, and there was no smell. The staff was more business-like. It was cosy and amenable, and I didn’t feel as included. It doesn’t feel like a community.

I visited this facility

I really liked Woodland Heights. It’s very nice. They have an indoor heated saltwater pool, an exercise room, and a professional driver for when you need to get somewhere. It's very near the medical center and the heart hospital. It's probably where I will end up. The staff member who showed me around was very nice, informative, and made me feel very welcome. She did a great job. The dining area is very nice and the people looked like they were very satisfied with their food.

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

My mom moved into Woodland Heights. She seems very happy, and so far, there are no problems. It's very nice, she seemed to be very comfortable and happy with the setting. She plays Bridge twice a week, meets with the ladies in the dining room, and she likes the food a lot. The staff is very nice and very helpful.

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

My father-in-law is in Woodland Heights right now. He has only been there for two or three weeks and they're doing a good job. They also have memory care units and assisted living. There's physical therapy and a nurse on duty. They pretty much have what every up-to-date community has. There is a lot of natural light coming into the building and that's really the reason why I chose it.

I Visited This Facility

Woodland Heights had a lot of good perks, like really nice, clean rooms, but they did not have anything available, and they were a little expensive. The people were very nice and friendly. They had a very nice dining area that served two meals a day, but they had food constantly. They also had a swimming pool and aything else you needed.
