I Am/Was A Resident Of This Facility

I moved into Atria Heritage Sun City, and it is very nice and pleasant. In many ways, I'm surprised. It's very comfortable, there's convenient living, and I love it here. They have a gym, swimming pool, water aerobics, movies, knitting groups, arts and crafts, sewing, painting, and from time to time somebody comes from the outside to give lectures, or play music. It's very nice, and they're very friendly. The staff is helpful, friendly, they know residents by their first name, they greet you, and it's like a family environment. It's very clean, and they have room service every second week.

I Visited This Facility

The rooms were very nice, spacious, clean, and everything looked really good. The staff was very good, very helpful, and friendly. It seemed like an active place because the residents were moving around and interacting. The amenities were all very nice. There was a really nice courtyard. I liked that the rooms had balconies and nice screened-in patios. There were nice interior sitting areas and the restaurant was very nice.

I Visited This Community

The Heritage Palmeras is a beautiful community. I toured several months ago and found that they do provide an array of services and activities . I was somewhat disappointed when I arrived to find that the parking area for guest was so small and I had to park on the street. The entire community is beutifully furnished with many common areas for the residents. The dining room is located on the main floor for easy access and the menu provides several selections and the food was delicious. The apartments are spacious and well maintained. One could hardly find any faults with the surroundings. If one would enjoy living in a 5 star resort then the Palmeras will meet and exceed your expections. However, I was looking for a home and I found the atmosphere, the staff and management to be cold, sterile and commercial.
